After I posted on Wells

... my friend Bill Walsh wrote to enlighten me about a subculture I'd never heard of before: "steampunk," devoted to regrafting modern technology into antique formats. And he forwarded this link in which a steampunk artist transforms an ordinary modern flat-screen computer into ... well you have to see it to believe it. Why isn't this man head of design at Dell? With Mac owning cool, somebody ought to try to own ... what shall we call it? Retro-cool?
