Islamo-Fascism?

President Bush was much criticized for his (short-lived) adoption of the term "Islamo-fascism." The argument was that Islam and fascism have nothing to do with one another. Which raises the question: In that case, why did the head of one of the very largest Muslim groups in Britain send money to one of Britain's most notorious fascists?
